Kitchen Countertop Ideas: three trends from Caesarstone Countertops
marble textures
Caesarstone newly released the 5151 Empire White, under their supernatural category, and it is leading the way for upcoming kitchen trends. This is a Stark white backdrop with dark gray to black veining uniquely spread across the slab. We absolutely love it! This makes our list of top kitchen countertop ideas because it’s a bold piece that can pair well with a variety of other elements. It can be used to create a statement island with waterfall gables, or a bold backsplash with modern white oak cabinet by The Banfield.
Let talks more about marble textures because they are perfect for many styles being created. Caesarstone 5043 Montblanc, also under Caesarstone’s supernatural category, is another great option to use in your home. Montblanc resembles a marble pattern with aggregates throughout by creating a warm and inviting texture.
explore caesarstone’s Metroplitan collection
The next of our top kitchen countertop ideas, is to create an unique feel with Caesarstone’s Metropolitan collection. Working with Caesarstone has allowed us to create creative and unique interiors for our clients, and the Metropolitan collection makes it easy for us. Their Metropolitan collection is full of trendy concrete looks. We use this concrete line as often as we can because we are absolutely in love with the honed quartz texture.
Another newly released quartz countertop in the Metropolitan collection, is the 4043 Primordia. This countertop options is very sophisticated. The colouring is very unique and you won’t find it anywhere else. Sometimes the characteristics of concrete can come off cold; however this one has that cool gray backdrop with peaches and “greiges” (gray-beige) to create the perfect mix. This is a great example to show how Caesarstone knows how to push boundaries and their ability to anticipate trends on the rise.
The Primordia has more of a tender effect. If you are looking for the reverse effect check out Caesarstone Rugged Concrete. 4033 Rugged Concrete screams vigorous dynamic texture, creating a rich lively feel. If you want the ultimate masculine look we suggest using Caesarstone Rugged Concrete countertops paired with a dark wood kitchen or a black lacquer opulent ensuite.
Embrace the Terrazzo look
Last but not least the trendiest kitchen countertops of them all: 4601 Frozen Terra. We are seeing the Terrazzo look everywhere we go, and we are loving it for kitchen countertops. Many commercial and hospitality designs have been bringing this look to reception desks or bars and we are now starting to see it creep into residential design.
One of our renovations project in the making, The Woo Residence, will be using Frozen Terra with gorgeous walnut cabinets by The Banfield, to create a mid-century modern charm to the home. Below is a little sneak peak of the materials for the Woo residence. Take a look how we used quartz material on walls, cubbies, doors on a storage unit and even drawer fronts on a vanity at the Bayview Drive Master Bathroom Project.
