The BC Hydro Smart Home is an installation space that showcases the latest in BC Hydro Power Smart technology. The feature is designed to give visitors an idea of how they can use smart technology to reduce their energy consumption and save money on their electricity bills.
One of the main features of the installation is the unique green feature wall layered with panel moulding matching the overall wall colour and finish. This colour serves as a subtle nod to the showroom's focus on energy efficiency, sustainability, and commitment to the environment. Behind the sofa, the pictures on the gallery wall are carefully selected to complement the colour scheme of the showroom and provide an interesting visual element to the space. The pictures depict Intricate textures and colours in warm tones to complement the green walls.
Furniture in the space was kept neutral to promote a calming, serene space. Throw pillows and blankets invite guests to sit down and learn more about the smart technology on display.
The installment features reclaimed wood and materials, such as the dining table. The rough natural wood creates a sense of warmth and texture in the space, while the industrial elements, such as pipes, add a unique rustic touch. Throughout the Interior and mock exterior, lots of greenery and plants add a touch of natural beauty to the space and showcase environmentally conscious design choices. The plants are not only a visual element but also serve as a reminder that they help improve the air quality and promote well-being.
Overall, the design elements work together with the Power Smart technology to create a beautiful and functional space that leaves a lasting impression on visitors.
